Homage to Letter-Writing Earns Grawemeyer Music Prize — “The Lost Art of Letter Writing,” a four-movement concerto for violin and orchestra by Australian composer Brett Dean, has earned the 2009 University of Louisville Grawemeyer Award for Music Composition.
