More a belief than an organisation, musicians without borders (MSF) believes that musical culture can, like cuisine, be a starting point for dialogue between peoples.

Collaborations between musicians from different musical and cultural backgrounds can create results far greater than the sum of their parts.

One such example is the XenDen suite written by Troy Roberts.  It brings classical and jazz musicians together in a celebration of the life of Alan Corbet, who also brought people together.
